Course Description

Mac OS X Fundamentals is a one-day, hands-on course that provides an intensive exploration of Mac OS X. This course is designed to give you a tour of the breadth of functionality of Mac OS X and the best methods for maximizing your productivity of Mac OS X systems. The course is a combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experience.

 

Who should attend?
 
This class is for those who are new to Mac OS X, or have recently switched from Windows. Even technical administrators that are familiar with advanced concepts can greatly benefit from learning the basic navigation mechanics and shortcuts that will thelp them accomplish fundamental tasks that are completely different in Windows XP or Vista.

Prerequisites

Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending this course:

  • How to use a mouse
  • How to read and write
